CEO/Leadership Strategist at Leadership in the Clouds™

Pat Martinez is a prolific community leader, author, and advocate for social capital building. She has over 30 years of expertise in Leadership, Business Development, Organizational Transformation, & Nonprofit Management. As the CEO of Leadership in the Clouds™, a management and corporate consulting firm, at manages a group of staff and consultants working across three areas, 1) Fortifying businesses and nonprofits, 2) Enhancing the pipeline of leaders, and 3) Paying it Forward through community service. In Charlotte, Pat has been involved, developed, and led community building initiatives across Charlotte and the Latino Community. She believes in intentional collaboration and community engagement to ignite change. Pat is engaged in national directorships, affiliations, and advisory roles. At a local level, she is a Steering Committee Member of the UCITY Family Zone in Charlotte. At the state level, Pat serves on NC Governor’s Commission on Inclusion and is a member-at-large of the Andrea Harris Social, Economic, Environmental, and Health Equity Task Force, to address the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on communities of color. Pat is a recurring mentor at Stanford University’s business up-scaling program-Latino Business Action Network, a program with over 700 graduates. She holds a BS degree in Political Science from Rutgers University, has professional training in Paralegal Studies, Professional Behavioral & Motivators Analyst, and Community Problem-Solving Skills for Civic Leadership. Pat is a Certified Trainer-Bridges Out of Poverty, Professional Life Coach, CBT Cognitive Behavior Life Coach, Stress Management Life Coaching, and finalizing her Emotional Intelligence and Mindfulness Life Coach Certification. She will restart working on her Master of Science in Management and Leadership in Spring 2021.
